Portraits of Ships
In this exercise of style, I have tried to show that these ships, looked upon
from an unusual angle,
could remind us of known forms and sometimes of familiar
states of mind.
I caught these steel monsters in dry docks, away from their natural element,
the sea,
revealing themselves in their entirety, showing their true faces.
Once they are repaired, these giants of the ocean go back to their element
and
sail for destinations that make us dream: Hong Kong, Singapore, Tanager…
